Start early
It is never too early to start thinking about fundraising for your
group. Having you fundraising program ready to implement at the first
group meeting is a great idea. Set up your fundraiser for next year
now and you will have the money when you need it!
Pre-purchase books
The way to generate the most profit is by pre-purchasing books. When
your organization can buy books before selling it guarantees you a
$10 profit per book. Plus, books that are pre-purchased are most likely
to be sold. A good way to do this is to have individual members buy
the books upfront at full price and then recoup their cost by keeping
the money from the sales.
Plan a kick-off event
Having a kick-off event is the best way to introduce your members to
the fundraising effort. It gets everyone excited about the money they
can raise and what it is going to be used for and educates everyone
